Spotlight: Fashionista Shannon Crocker

We always have the best contributors on Three Days Three Ways and since we’re at the World Equestrian Games I thought it would be a good time to get to know them better.  Shannon Crocker is always there when we need a debrief on who’s wearing what and how well.  We’ll get the run-down on fashion, what works (and what doesn’t) at the WEGs thanks to her!

Shannon grew up in Virginia Pony Clubbing with Difficult Run before moving on to being a top Young Rider.  She competed at the upper levels with her beloved big grey Jamison, placing 3rd at Radnor ** and completing Fair Hill *** when both were long format.  These days Shannon focuses on bringing up the young ones and finding them the right home by the time they’ve moved up to Training or Preliminary.  She’s currently working with a special gent named Waylon.  I can speak from personal experience in saying he’s super sweet, eager to do the job, and has knees-like-a-hunter.

He’s also brave…

And scopey!

A graduate of the University of Virginia, Shannon’s day job is with Microsoft Services. Speaking of which, have you noticed the Microsoft Internet Cafe on the grounds of the WEGs?  Make sure to thank her for being able to stay connected even while you’re soaking up everything horse here at the Kentucky Horse Park!

She’s married to Sean Crocker and they are having a wonderful time with their adorable son Brodie.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the coverage Shannon brings all of us on the fashion front.  And I’m glad you could get to know her better!  If you want more information on Waylon send an email to threedaysthreewaysblog.com and I’ll make sure you get it.  Enjoy the World Equestrian Games and Shannon’s coverage here!
